Watch register

Why (Atul, 17 Oct): we must keep reviewing regulator and official sites regularly and update ourselves whenever rules change or new information appears. Order of importance: regulators and tax, then government macro data, then principals (product owners).

How the watch works (to be designed as LLD DS-1)

  1. Detect: a small collector per source checks the listing page (circulars, releases) for new entries; stores title, date, link and a hash. Public data only, so free tools and open work packages may build the collectors; respect each site's terms and robots rules.
  2. Summarise: Gemini Flash-Lite drafts a two-line summary and an impact guess (which project, which product line).
  3. Route: each item becomes a for:design issue with the source link; Design decides: ignore, note, or change (LLD or plan update). Compliance-relevant items are flagged for Atul and his compliance adviser.
  4. Record: decisions go to the project's owner notes; the register keeps last-checked dates so gaps are visible.
